Hi!
I'm Ibai Viñas, a designer and illustrator also known as vacuo.
With a background in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country and a Master’s in Design and Illustration from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, I have built a career exploring how design and illustration intersect to create more impactful visuals.
I move fluidly between both disciplines, using design to bring clarity and structure, and illustration to add depth and emotion. By combining them, I create work that is both visually captivating and conceptually strong, enhancing the impact of each project.
My work is bold, dynamic, and deeply connected to themes of nature, human emotion, and social narratives. I believe in the power of visuals to communicate, challenge and inspire, creating pieces that not only catch the eye but also invite reflection.
